Most car boot organisers i've seen have floppy sides, or no lid, the Outwell one is reinforced so the sides stay upright all the time and the lid zips closed keeping everything in place.

If I didn't already have the Outwell one i'd have the trolley crate and bag though, that looks really good.

We bought our Outwell kitchen store the year before last, I don't remember how much we paid exactly but it was around £30-£35.
I don't use the cutlery holder or the washing up bowl (I prefer proper bowl and I have a box for cutlery that fits in the kitchen store) I can fit all our kitchen equipment in it, including the pans & kettle, plus stuff like binliners, dishcloths, teatowels etc, for a family of six.

It's quite heavy when full, and fairly large, but when you consider what it contains its not too bad really. It's very strong and well made, not just a bag and definitely one of my better buys, I wouldn't be without it now.

My wife has pre-ordered it, cost about £60 but can't see us getting any cheaper till end of the year (if they have any left). The one we currently have is half the size and was used when i was a child, so lasted a good 25 years. Hoping the same will apply to this one.

If anyone is still seeking an alternative to the well-regarded Outwell Kitchen Storer, I've just bought an Andes Kitchen Storer from Outdoor Value for £23:

http://www.outdoorvalue.co.uk/99843-andes-kitchen-store-bag.html

Perhaps not as high-quality as the Outwell bag, but still reasonably tough and I hope it will live up to life on my campsite.

One of the 3 main internal compartments accommodates my single burner 'suitcase-stove' along with several spare butane canisters. My camping pan set goes into the removable 'washing-up / ice bag' with plenty of room left over for washing-up accoutrements. That leaves the whole of the central 3rd for camping plates/bowls/mugs/glasses, and all the pockets around the outside for other essentials.

Recommended.

Ordered yesterday and delivered by courier today ... thank you OutdoorValue!

Simon.
