Aww RAF, yes I did and I still love it lots and lots and use it regularly! Its fabulous for long weekends but I needed something a little bit bigger for longer stays with the OH and this will replace my cheapo polyester Vango that I started camping with!! Don't worry, it's still cherished and much admired by my friends.

This thread is SO funny and so easy to relate to. Aren't us ladies a devious bunch??!!!

When I bought the second tent, I really thought I had got away with it. I even archived my purchase on Ebay before my item arrived so that hubbie didn't know.   Can't remember how he found out with that one but I remember getting into ttrouble. I pretended to be extremely sleepy and not understand when he asked me. I think the conversation went "Is there something you need to tell me about a tent?". I very sleepily replied "A tent? Oh, not sure. Night"!!!!!

Last week I won an Icarus 600 on Ebay which has since been returned. My hubbie was still lookng out for auctions ending and kept saying about all the Icarus's available. I said we really don't need another tent as we have enough. He didn't realise at the time that I had already bought an additional one!!

I do tend to say that it is good to carry on buying stuff off Ebay and cnsequently getting feedback as we often sell on there so it can only be good from our selling point of view!!    That doesn't go down well either!!

Laughing my socks off at this thread I have tents hidden all over the house. They are everywhere. I have sneaked more tents than I can remember. As my hubby doesn't camp he hasn't a clue really but gets cross at the tents I have but he has no control. There's my latest addition in the front room, my little Cabanon Elzas with the push out kitchen. Only the weather has prevented me from erecting it and I plan to use it in Scarborough next month. However I was caught red handed with this one when they delivered it on the day I won it on eBay! Love all my tents but I really have to think about selling some of them.
