Oh my dayssss where did you get the package for £891, if you dont mind me asking? Ive decided i want the XLP (in the absence of a rich boytoy to buy me my Yosemite Falls ), but i havent seen it for less than £999 for the tent on its own!!

Welcome, by the way. I must admit to now hoping you dont like it, and will be selling your tent on to me in the very near future

I found a package deal on the outdoor world direct website for £1,100. They are having a 10% off sale at the moment so it cam out at £990. I then phoned go outdoors and made use of their price guarantee (they'll beat any price by 10%). So it came out at £891.

Outdoor world direct have extended their sale, but have now excluded package deals from it. However the items, individually, are still there. So you should be able to pick up a shiny new Vermont XLP for £810, with free delivery!!!

Thanks for the info, Disco. What a cracking deal you got, well done you! GO seem to have dropped the prices of their tents overnight, and are now doing the xlp on its own for £849, so might go down there and see what theyll offer me in a package lol
