We leave ours in the car, most of our clothes stay in there too! I pack in bags then move to folding crates when we get there, easier to find your stuff in than a bag.

Back of a chair in the sleeping pod...Clothes on there as well when I am ready for bed....Nothing worse than damp clothes from the ground in the morning!!!

I was sick of this also and chairs falling over coz coats were on the back of them or the dog gets on the chair and knocks em all off so i bought http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/elite-4-shelf-cupboard-p152320 and bought a multiple coathanger type thingy gets them out of the way i love it

Another advantage of frame tents!!! You have a Frame to hang stuff off!!! We used to have a rail you hooked over the frame then hung coats etc. off the hooks on the rail.
I hate this at home too!!! On the bannister, on the kitchen chair, grrrrr. Wet ones are the biggest PITA... I've tried hanging them under the porch to dry but it depends on wind direction.
Otherwise...go somewhere hot where you don't need them
Some kind of hanging thingy with butcher's hooks would be cool.
I have a frame tent so I can hang things from it like KatierRax I did have a coat rack but know I use these hooks from Ikea which are sturdier and cheaper
