I'm going to have to stop looking at all these holiday threads....They just make me want to pack up and get off somewhere again....And I'm just back over a week now myself...
Thanks for sharing your families time away Brickie...You all look happy...chilled and relaxed....3 main components in the making of a good holiday......

The pic at the watering hole was taken on the 1st Aug. It was cloudy but warm. Pub was still heaving though.
Wish we could just pack up and go back again....not a massive fan of the 11 hour drive there and back. On the plus side I have now towed on the motorway for the first time and managed a few motorway meets motorway type junctions whilst Hubby was asleep.
And yes, I think he was convinced he could walk on water....if he ran fast enough hee hee

had a lovely time away despite the (at times) horrendous weather. We did see some sun and made the most of it. As mentioned whilst we were away we bought an event shelter to give us somewhere to sit when it was raining as it was still too warm to sit in a zipped up tent.
As requested here are a selection of our pics from being away...
We got the shelter from cotswold's in Truro as it was the closest to our site. They price matched amazon on both the shelter and the walls.
The tent was just amazing considering the weather....thunderstorms and so much rain over 3 days that the Sig was practically floating over a few dips in the ground. Only issue I had was forgetting to zip the ehu point fully. There was so much water running down the tent that it tracked in along the ehu cables. Easily dealt with though and my fault.
I just refused to take many pictures of all the rain we had lol.

Oh and tablecloths were just oilcloth bough on ebay cut to size. The bunting was the offcuts of that cut into triangles and superglued onto ribbon (aldi from ebay) Cost me about 9 quid all in and took no time at all.
