The retailer showed (and continues to show) a floorplan indicating an inner front door mesh screen. It's a mistake. Whilst Outwell themselves don't show the same dotted line, they will have supplied the image at some point.
Nowhere in the text, or the manufacturer's video they also show, does it say that the front door has an inner mesh.
On ours, the RHS side can be poled up and does have a mesh. If the 2013 is the same, and I was concerned about bugs, I'd leave the front door closed and have the side door open, with the mesh shut.
I hope the replacement groundsheet is with you soon. Clearly, the retailer here needs to review their customer service resourcing. As you say, distant is irrelevant when a quick email will keep you updated.
