Hi there, I have few ideas that might help

I usually take eggs to make mushroom, pepper, onion tomato omelettes

Have boiled egg and toast for breakfast or french toast ( sometimes we make pancakes)

We also love having baked potatoes and salad
Local sausages and roasted veg in the pan.
( we have toaster bags for fish fingers- our sons fav)
Beans and scrambled egg, roasted tomato, peppers etc.
I have also used tinned corned beef, jacket potato and beans.
Tuna mayo sweet corn pasta - if you don't want pasta , have this filling in some nice pitta breads.

Gosh honestly the list is endless if you don't want to have cold chilled items.
Sometimes we buy Fresh croissants and have Nutella as a treat

Ps I got my grill toaster bags from wilkinsons and kleeneze

I've used them for both fish fingers and chicken nuggets in the toaster,

They tasted just the same as under the grill x

Apart from those already mentioned quick and easy for us includes chicken fajitas and hot dogs (although not together ).

I have a small halogen cooker - a lot smaller than the one at home. I got it from Amazon and it lets me cook anything I would at home. couple of nights ago I was doing onion rings. if he likes nuggets you could buy some of the coating mixes available and then just buy some chicken when you get there. you can cook just about anything in the cooker.

We purposely don't eat them often at home so they are one of our camping treats

There is just something so special about eating outdoors. Even sandwhiches taste nicer. Or maybe that's just me Ham and tomato sandwhiches. Lush.

It's one of my fave buys ever! Easy to use, clean etc,
They do make delish sandwiches! I enjoy, pepper, red onion, tomato and ham....with a glass of red lol

Sorry- not meaning to hijack the thread but that sounds delicious!

Try salsa with ham. Tasty. I know it sounds weird but salsa also goes lovely with scambled eggs for anyone interested.

small halogen oven

It packs up really small - for travelling I put the top on upside down so the workings and lead are inside the glass bowl. In terms of space it would take up an area of about 30cm x 30cm x 30cm. I also put my teatowels inside it for travelling too so it gets better.

Wraps? He could fill with salad and cooked meats or tuna and wrap up himself. We have a table top electic thing fab for any quick meat cooking and kids can do it themselves - google table top grills it was about £20 I think. I have a son who won't eat potatoes or sauce so one pot cooking is out for him and the grill thing works for us.
