Do slow cookers get hot enough to crisp the skin? I do like the skin to be crunchy, so use a halogen oven.

I have cooked lasagne and chicken nuggets in mine worked a treat ! obviously not together ! also any joint of meat pulled pork is the current favorite !

The skin doesnt get crunchy in a slow cooker but has a lovely flavour just like those that you get from"spud u like" vans!
