Oh and I deliberately left the shoe border in front of the door. There is a good bit of carpet folded under at the other end so can make it reach the door no problem. The measurements on the go outdoors site are wrong. It is 330cm by 240 or similar

Cheap thin exhibition cord carpet. Look on ebay. Then cut to size 2semi circles, suits us.

Then add some rugs for added colour

Great suggestion geoffprinter which after much research I’ve decided looks like the best option. Just had a 5m x 4m piece of wine coloured exhibition cord delivered which I’m going to cut into half circles, using Mexican blankets on top for rugs. The carpet is rubber backed and thin which is great - did you use a Stanley knife to cut it or can you use scissors?

Scissors, its easy to cut being so thin. Another even lighter and less bulky is removal blankets, the removal firms use, sewn together, then some rugs. Both have worked for us,

Thanks. I love the idea of removal blankets too. I'm making a video of our setup the weekend after next when we pitch the new bell tent for the first time, will link to it here then.
