Thanks for the advice bob61 that was an issue I was pondering with. We should have room for both, so i could have the fan heater and convector on at 1kw each, one being in the bedroom and the other in the main living area. I can then switch the convector in to 2kw when we go to bed.
That sounds a good idea and being inside a bedroom pod with the door shut it will probably be more efficient than in the main living area of the tent.
You can get convector heaters with fans on them but the fans aren't all that powerful.
