It does, and will, happen. After 20+ years, we've now finally come to the conclusion we'll sell up, and go safaris, statics, or concrete tenting in future.

We love the bit in-between, but the arrival and departure is just too much now.

What a load off. Got two concrete tent slots booked, and pondering all points north, east, south, and west for France 2015.

The thought of chucking just two bags, and two bikes, in the car and going is so appealing.

We've had some great times, and we'll have more in future. But someone else can do the hard work

To sumerise...I share the ethos of your post Mucker...And going by my age and times off camping would say that feeling of "Missing Out" does not diminish...If any thing...It gets worse....
