On a more serious note (Ha!)

I find that my trips to the cat litter loaded carrier bag in the plastic bucket are proportionate to the square root of the number of UK pints of Stella Artois I have poured down my neck. (The true joy of camping?)

So I only have my self to blame for those struggles to get the sleeping bag unzipped without catching the zip in the material...Grrrr...

I take a porta potti with me for night time loo (as i really can't be bothered to walk to the toilet block in the middle of the night) and strangely enough rarely need to use it even though i can guarantee i get up at least once a night when i'm at home. Maybe i drink more tea when i'm at home??

One of our sons came in from sleeping in the awning to pee in the bucket. But the telly was on the floor where he thought the bucket was. It worked perfectly for many years till we threw it away when we got a flat screen.

We now use a porta potti inside at night and are very glad we have it many times over.

OH almost always gets up at home, but I don't always wake up. In the campervan, I always wake when he gets up to go to the facilities. Drives me mad. We have tried everything, restricting drinks, sitting up late. He reckons it's because he wakes up uncomfortable, then has to pee.
