I would love one but as we are duvet lovers not sleeping bags then how do you fit a sheet on them. With a normal height airbed I just use a standard fitted sheet, but what do you guys use on these higher ones please?

we have an Intex double height bed and just sleep on a duvet under a duvet.. tried sheets and it didn't really work, and the duvet gives that extra layer of warmth.

We've had a double Aerobed for a couple of years. I think we paid £79 for it. Don't use it often for camping, as it's quite large and car space is very limited. But the bed has been used by us and guests over many weekends. We also take it when we stay with relatives as it's more comfy than most put-u-up beds. As a result it gets quite heavy use.

So quick to inflate and deflate, it's always been extremely comfortable, and is very supportive and good for dicey backs, which is important as we are not in our first flush of youth, as it were!

It could fail any day, but when it does, I shall replace it, as it's been worth its weight in gold!

Hope this helps.

Bargain we paid £125 4 yrs ago best night sleep we've had camping and is just as comfy as our bed at home

Not a great photo but this is a king sized raised comfort
We use king sized flat sheets as fitted sheets don't fit
We also use an electric blanket on cold nights

£59.89 is darn good value for a king-sized deluxe. You lucky thing! Well worth the money.

So, used the aerobed for our first trip end of May, sadly went down on our last night. Hole on the seam on top of the bed 😭. Sent back to CostCo awaiting a refund. Got this for a great price but they no longer have it in stock! Not sure what to do, plenty of people say theirs has lasted but worried if it happens again and it's the 1st night for instance, we would be packing up and heading home.

Hope you get your refund ok, just to say that we have the Intex queen size raised airbed, bought it on Amazon last year and used it for roughly a month's camping, we also have used it since a few times now for putting up the kids' friends when they sleep over, and so far so good.

You do need to add some air from time to time, as with many airbeds, but it is very comfortable to sleep on, and we take a quilted mattress protector to put on top, both for warmth and to give some additional protection for the airbed, then a fitted extra deep valanced sheet, which works really well for us.

They have the same as we have still on Amazon , the one we have is with the built in pump, which is currently £54.99, and the other without the built in pump, which is only £28!

Thank you Tentaddict7. I too used a mattress topper for warmth and to protect the aerobed, with a sheet. Also purchased a bedroom sized carpet so there are 3 layers underneath it! Possibly just unlucky but now we paranoid which is a shame as it was so comfortable and packed smaller than what we used before, a camp bed and a fishing chair bed (which when in the car is the size of a small barge!!!) :(((

I will have a look on Amazon, thank you :)

That is where our aerobed kept on deflating, you would think they would have sorted out this problem.

Friends have a raised Coleman durarest and they think it is very good and more reliable than their previous aerobed so far.
