Sorry purplebean I don't have Word - I have Open Office Writer with this computer and it seems to accept "wellies".
I am also a pen and paper gal as well. I have lists for all sorts of things..even housework.. then I can prioritize. I do have an i-pad, but apart from sending programmes to the tv, music and (one of my weaknesses) Tetris - sad, but that's all I use it for at the moment - in my favour it is relatively new. I didn't even know about these apps .. or is that short for apples. Nooo, I know what apps are just a bit scared to use 'em!
I quite like keeping my camping lists on the computer as I type quite quick and work more on the computer so it's done in no time - whereas the i-pad is a bit fiddly to type on and not so fast
