Yes, we had success too, as we decided to try not to have the roof bag as it makes packing quicker. We have a big boot - Renault Espace, but there are five of us. Managed to get in polycotton inflatable tent, kitchen tent, three tables, three plastic crates of kitchen etc, five chairs, five bags of clothes, three large blankets, pillows, five sleeping bags, roll mats, airbeds etc.
It has made us think about taking less stuff to France this year, we were completely set up, kitchen included, beds all made up, in 80 mins.
