I have a fantastic moon chair that my children bought me one Christmas. We went this weekend and it was a god send.

This is our current set up, we have the double beech seat with a nice warm throw on it and a couple of folding chairs. I crochet my own blankets and find they make the folding chairs much more comfortable and warm when sat during the evening.

We used to have one of the inflatable sofa/beds which looked lovely with a huge throw on it but I didn't find it that comfy to sit on. The lower level one next to it was a previous one that one section had a puncture, so Bailey got his very own sofa

Gelert Ashton chair. Definitely does the home-from-home thing and a bargain at the moment.

I suggested the Gelert Ash / Ashton because the Beech isn't available any more. We have one of each. I'd say 2 x Ash would be more comfortable than 1 x Beech, although there's a bit of a space penalty. And only £28.

The one thing I will say about the Beech Seat is it is quite bulky to pack

I agree TraceyD it is quite bulky to pack
I liken it in size to a set of golf clubs in their bag
But I reckon it is 100% worth it because it's better then any inflatable sofa and we have tried a few
To us its a worthwhile part of our camping equipment

Yes I agree - and much more comfy than a bag of golf clubs
