Legally, yer mean?
Is this something that might be worth me seeing my solicitor about?
Maybe some sort of injunction banning everyone from using 'em?
Hmmm... interesting! I'll make some enquiries!

What is bunting for? Does it keep the flies away? I get a vision that your houses must be full of geegaws if you feel the need to decorate your tents like that.
What is next? Gnomes?

When we were away last weekend my Mum admitted that when she used to go camping in Germany she always took gnomes

Was it to make it more like a gnome from home?

I'm in the 'For Bunting' camp. Why not, if it adds to the holiday ambiance? We attach ours via the ties which secure the canvas to our front porch or canopy.

We also have solar-powered fairy lights which, although expensive to buy - laughably of a reputable and longer-lasting make - and charged with a USB lead prior to the hols, decided not to work at all last year (found this out after I'd fixed them all up inside the tent with clear table ties).

Worse than legally banned, its the OH and his friends that have banned me. If I bring any with us I've been told a fate worse than death awaits me.... They're a kinky lot, so I dread to think that might happen if I did bring any. Or maybe its worth taking some just to find out....

Not sure about bunting, but I'm thinking of a fibre-glass flag-pole with a very large skull and cross-bones flag flying in the breeze. That should keep a good distance between my tent and others.
