The tent showed up today! But I wasn't home to receive it. So I won't be able to pick it up until tomorrow at the post office. So for any American's considering purchasing from overseas, I ordered on 7/20 from the UK and the tent showed up for delivery on 7/25 in MN. Pretty impressive. Looking forward to setting it up.

Enjoy your new tent! I'm intrigued as to why people generally don't have big tents in America. What happens if you want to camp in style-do people buy a caravan or motor home instead?

I think so, there's a huge market for campers and motorhomes in the USA. I actually considered a pop up camper before deciding on a large tent, I really didn't want to store a camper on my property(or pay for storage elsewhere) when I'm already looking at getting a boat that I'm going to keep in my garage as well. I'm pretty excited, this tent will have way more space inside than any camper I would've considered. I plan on posting pictures and a review as soon as I can, thanks!

Well, got the tent today. It came in two boxes, the main tent and the vestibule. The boxes could've been taped up better, but everything made it in one piece and with zero damage. I tried to set it up in the yard tonight, but ran out of time, and space. It's huge, much larger than I imagined and I even knew the dimensions before I purchased it. Got it mostly erected, and I think it will be a great tent once I learn how to pitch it in a reasonable amount of time. Bonus, I got it back into the bag on the very first try. So at least I know I can do that part well. Gonna camp in my yard this weekend, pictures to follow.

hey sledneck27,

great news on your new tent! it will be a rare site on us camping grounds and im sure will attract a lot of attention!.

thats brilliant that you got it back into the bag 1s time - its something that some folks do struggle with.
so congrats!.

just remember to always roll / fold towards the deflate valves to squish the air out and always leave doors / windows unzipped to help in this way too!.

looking forward to seeing your pics!
