Ok we need to visit hubbys family in Grimsby this year (😕) Only camped for a few days in May as had holiday of a lifetime in Canada for 3 weeks this summer so hubby has asked if I fancy camping in October half term (21st Oct to be precise!) when we go visit the inlaws!
Is he crazy??
Usually only camp May - Aug!! Kids scout camp all year round!!
Opinions!! And if yes any recommendations Grimsby way??

Do it, I've been climbing Snowden in just shorts before and getting sunburnt in mid Oct.
Keeping an eye on sunspots will become more of a feature as we go into a solar minimum in a few years time if scientists are right, but the TLDR is no sunspots = whacky weather, ie too hot, too cold, too windy, too wet.
Last time we had a solar minimum was 500 years ago so no met office data to go off, just contemporary data which a Prof Brian Fagan has amassed and written about in a few books if interested in what to expect. Volcanoes are mankinds biggest risk, largest explosion in last few hundred years is ten times greater than the combined power of all the nuke weapons on this planet and a massive volcanic explosion spewing lots of ash into atmosphere can reduce global temps by an average of 10 C in as many days threatening global food supplies which is a risk as this country imports 55% of its food and the UK supply chain only has upto 5 days food if the country was cut off.
Just to put some of the recent Trump/NK news in perspective.
And yet, globally, the planet, as of now, is producing enough food to feed everyone on it's overpopulated surface..............
