For many years we used the canvas box type airbeds on top of camp beds, was as comfy as my bed at home! Last year we changed to Outwell Dreamcatcher 10cm SIMs and they are very comfortable. With a camp bed you also get additional storage space underneath.

I use a foam mat on an airbed, it's never slid off and they completely block the cold from seeping through. My partner has just started using the zempire slumberlite 10cm sim which he finds more comfortable as he has a bad back.
We have been using an Outwell double dreamboat 12cm. We bought it back in 2018. It's a big piece of kit even while folded, but after over 50 nights sleeping on it we have never had a bad night's sleep. It was pricy so I had to think long and about it, but a good night's sleep is money well spent.I would highly recommend.
