Hi

There's one for sale on e-bay at the moment - new.  Starting bid is £60 + £16 p&p.

It is from Walker Camping in Halstead, Essex, so if you live anywhere near you could collect it and save on postage.

Of course the price could go up if someone else bids on it, so it may be worth ringing them 01787478041 and see if they will do a "buy it now price" or even a private sale.

hi we had one of them hexagonal gazebos for a few years we got ours from argos but u can also get them from homebase when the garden season starts.they are around £40.00-£50.00

Seriously, if the wind whips one of these gazebos they can go helter-skelter through tent fabric, and cause mayhem. I have seen tents flattened in high winds, so these gazebos (which are essentially garden structures, for sunny days, don't you agree?) often don't stand a chance, but can do serious damage.

We have a Cabanon gazebo - steel frame, proper guys and solid as a rock when pitched,just like Cabanon frame tents Downside is pack weight (and cost  ), but I have the peace of mind it is not going to damage either mine or my neighbour's tent if the weather turns nasty (and, even then, I will use Deltas, and check and double check pegs and guys).

There are lots of day rooms about now, which don't cost an arm and a leg and are more stable when pitched than gazebos. We also have a Khyam Screenhouse; a more lightweight option and fab because it can also take an inner tent and be used as a tent for short stops.

Please think carefully before taking one of the more flimsy gazebo structures onto a campsite. They are great for in the garden, but tents are a bit more fragile than bricks and mortar, if the gazebo turns into a missile, aren't they.....

We bought a gazebo which cost us £9.99 from Just the Job, It took some hard windy weather and stayed put and the good thing was if it ripped or one of the poles snapped, it didn't matter because it only cost a tenner. Plus it was 3mx3m and the more expensive gazebos were only 2.4mx2.4m.
