I love our picasso we have 3 kids one of which is a baby so you can imagine all the gear needed, brillant car, love it and got it brand new off the internet for about 3 grand cheaper than in the showroom
Whereabouts on the internet did you get your Picasso, if you dont mind me asking. We bought ours when it was 2 years old and would like to replace it with a new one early next year and I wouldnt mind saving 3 grand.
hi started camping last season mind you i went with my parents for years when i was younger but got my own family now and started taken them erm im thinking of geting a piccaso. last season used my works mitibishi worrior which in my opinion is a ultamate camping vehcal it took my family of five plus all the gear in the back only draw back it got stolen from work and my new ones just a 3 seater and to buy a warrior ill probly have to sell the house
i believe it was this web site that we got ours from, obviuosly i dont know the current prices at the dealers but we got a 1.8 diesel and as i say it was a few grand cheaper even the dealerships couldnt match it. the actual car came from Meashams which is a citreon dealers in London and after the initial enquiry to the web site you then get in contact with the actual dealer (depending on where you live depends on where the car came from) it is delivered to your home and has all the usual warranties which you can use at your local citreon . garage, this was just over a year ago so i assume it is still the same. let me know how you get on
I've got a Picasso and also think it's great. Went way last year with 2 adults, 2 kids and it was a squeeze. However, I'm also thinking of getting a large roofbox and hope that will do the trick, otherwise it's a trailer which slows you down.
exessexmum - We would have liked the same as you now have, but with the £6,000 extra we couln't aford it. Given that most of the 75k miles i've done are with just me on the commute, my fuel economy is also probably 10 MPG better.
magicaly - I checked out the prices on the web then managed to get my local dealer to get within £200 and chuck in a couple of small extras. ( do say which site you checked - the dealer looked to confirm )
we tried that with our dealer but he was just too tight to reduce there price and considering we got it so much cheaper i can see why. he knew which web site we meant as well
I'm not ready to buy yet but when I am I will be checking out the prices on the net then popping into the dealership to see what they can do as our local dealership is excellent. So much the better if they can almost match the price like yours and you are dealing are face to face, but if not then I'm happy to buy off the net.
I have just been reading the child car set link from Essex mum and the way i read it it is not compulsary for children up to 11 to sit in child seats on occasional journeys as long as they wear a seat belt?? has anyone else read this??
My wife has a pic which we use for all our camping trips. I take the rear seats out to give loads of room for the trips to the local tip. Excellent car & so comfy. Have a look on this site for all the picasso info http://www.citroenpicasso.org.uk/picasso/
