When we just had the tent, in the summer we would only ever go non ehu and I couldn't really see the point in ehu as we always managed very well without it as we have an extension lead that runs from the car to the tent and supplies 12v lights, obviously cooking on gas. In september we went to our first meet in Charmouth and we took the small Vango with us, by god was it cold and to the point of bugger this for a game of soldiers so we bought a small caravan and went to a bonfire night with ehu and heating and have to admit it was brilliant. The only drawback to ehu in a tent that I can really see is that where all the ehu's are normally sited the ground is like rock due to heavier campers pitching there, aprt from that then go for it.
