Hi Paul,

We found this place in France, the Loire Valley. I had never thought of France but my Uncle has a camper and goes there whenever he can, he thinks that it is fabulous. The people here are very nice and helpful, we can't wait to get there, see what you think. We were very surprised at the cost of ferry prices, we are going in August so that maybe why?

Thanks Carolina,

That's the second time I've seen that website, bust be a popular choice. Unless it was your OH who told me about it? Any way, we finally managed to get the tent up tonight, so at least we know it's all there and it works.

Paul.

No, I don't think it was my OH, he works in Surrey. The campsites look much bigger over in Europe. We are getting a Diablo 600, our first tent, though the OH was a keen camper when he lived in the states. He assures me that we won't need to put it up first to see where everything goes, and if I hear 'I've put up loads of tents' again, I think there will be casualties lol. So I won't mention it again until 3hrs later at the camp site, covered in floppy tent when I may just slip into the conversation 'i told you so'

I think pitching the tent is all part of the fun, but when you drive all the way to the site just to find a seam hasn't been stiched properly you can have him stand outside holding an umberella over the hole when it rains

Paul.
