We don't have a porch and it's the one thing we miss, I'd love one. We have a sloping side tent (wildcountry 7) and if it's raining and we open a door the rain runs off the roof into the tent, however much we shake the top and sides before opening up. So you're forever mopping up. We can't leave the canopy door open cause the kids (3&5) escape! Maybe okay this year they are getting older and campsite trained. If anyone's got any suggestions if they've overcome a similar situation I'd be greatful. I've thought of velcoing side panels on to the canopy so if it's raining hard we could openup but the rain won't blow in but not tried this yet.
