Oooohh...I haven't got a clue Hang on trying to imagine it with me arms.
Think each arm bit could be about 15" or maybe a liccle bit more. Can't measure it coz it's in the tin tent on storage pitch.
Suffice to say it takes the width of one of hubby's large t-shirts, just! It also folds up nicely and takes up not a lot of room and is very lightweight. We had one as a wedding present (29 years ago) but it's all metal and weighs a ton but is still used often if there's just a couple of bits needing to be hung out, (by the maid -natch!), when we just stand it on the patio or if the wirly gig thingie's full up, it's handy for all the undies too. Takes much heavier stuff though than I'd risk on the easy dry plastic one.
You can see details of it on the 'features and tips' thingy at the top of your screen which for some reason???? won't let me copy it into this post today!Have to say the delivery was very quick from ukcs shop too!
Hi Hippy Chick, A question: do you have to put all the arms in position? If I just wanted to hang a couple of towels could I just put up 2 or 4 opposite arms? If so I'm buying one!
we tend to put up a washing line between tent and tree and leave it unless we are asked to take it down. Otherwise we just drape towels over the car or even lay them out flat on the grass if it is dry enough.

Nope, you don't have to put them all out, but as I said, it's advisable to try and balance 'em up on each side. I s'pose you could always weigh down the three legs somehow too to avoid the toppling. But it's more unstable outside than when it's up in the awning. Darned high winds at Pentewan last year...as is normal for us Weather alert for any poor souls going to the Mevagissey area for two weeks from 12th August...I'm apologizing in advance!
Only 6 weeks and 5 days to Heligan Woods and counting...every bl**dy one of 'em

I'll get one ordered then, thanks very much! Balancing things out is fine, I just don't want to have to use all our living space! We use a line outside where possible, but unfortunately that isn't always the case, and then I often want to sit on the chairs!
I regularly drape my car with wet clothes and towels when camping! I also have a hanging peg airer which comes in very useful at home for drying socks on the line.
Have just come back from Lincoln Farm Park where this year they have put up rotary lines in a semi screened location in the tent area. We found it so convenient when coming back from the showers and pool. Wish more sites would do this as things dry so much quicker!
