I find the best way to erect the Monty 6 is to put the rear poles in first and guy it out at the back, Then just insert one cross sections at a time and raise the sides. As it is guyed out, it remains upright. Very easy to put up and a magnificent tent. We used ours in May and it rained heavily a couple of nights. Absolutely no leakage as the tent is so well made. Getting it back into the bag is the hardest part, but we have even mastered this now so that it fits first time each time we use it.
Going camping in Devon and Cornwall at the end of next week for two weeks, Can't wait.
