When we were in Aldi someone was returning a tent for this reason and there was no problem with a refund whatsoever so good luck get it taken back

swatty809, hi, i use nikwax alot on all my products, and no problem, it will help solve your leaky problem, but you will still experience condensation, no matter what. Providing you have adequate air vents condensation will be reduced. Remember, if you tent is warm inside and it is raining you will experience more condensation.

Our Aldi tent leaked too and we ended up sharing for 3 nights in my sister's tent. I was dissapointed as the HH was supposed to be 2000mm, however definately take it back as they refunded my money without any quibbles. Good luck.

Hi I took mine back  got my money no probs I am now in the process of looking for a bigger and better quality tent !  we have seen the Vango TBS Oregon 800 lots bigger but still the same HH 2000 so not sure but I will Keep watching out for comments on different tents  on this site     thanks DebTwin
