Life is a learning curve, sometimes it goes right , sometimes it goes wrong...
Maybe this time its gone more the way of wrong, but who knows i may be Lucky.
Will try to test it before i go if i get time, but if not will just repack and resell and get a higher HH as said above. You learn by you errors...
As for after sale service well there is probs none...but thats life aint it.
Now onwards and upwards i the only way for me..
Your tent will be fine I'm sure, esepcially as the weather is good at the moment. Don't worry about it too much. Our old tent was 2000 and we never had probs with leakage, our new tent with 3000 arrived the week before last and piddled in! (have had replacement now though as it was faulty).
Its a good idea to try camping out anyway to see if you like it, no point spending a fortune on a top of the range one if not for you. We had a good few years out of our last one and even now I'm keeping it for 'back up' as there wasn't a lot wrong with it, we just wanted one with more living space and windows
Yours looks lovely and roomy and light!
welcome to the site ..... it is wonderful ..... and we rely on the campsite reviews to pick our sites ..here and abroad!
Happy camping ..rented a house in Bamburgh with friends inthe autumn absolutely fantastic place ..I now wish I had gone on the boat trip to the farne islands from seahouses ..amazing seabirds and seals to be seen ..but youre a local lad so I guess you will know all the haunts
Im originally from Stockport in Cheshire, move to Blyth in the North-East 10 years ago, as for the boat trips, well i am also lifeboat crew so have my share of boat trips..but will be nice to have a look around the Farnes and the kids will love it...
Glad you are taking a philosphical view about the tent Steve - you never know, it may be fine as a first foray into camping for the family.
And I just wanted to give a big for the lifeboat work you do. My older bro-in-law was a working fisherman for many years and I have heard many tales of the great work that crews of people like you do - including pulling him out of the drink off Portland Bill some years ago.
Glad someone was there for him foggers, it aint hard and we aint super heros, we just have the right equipment to do the job in hand..hopefully my tent will prove the same...
I will leave a review once i have return from the site mentioned above that i am visiting this weekend as that was how i picked where to go on our 1st time trip...and will carry on doing so for all my trips...
