Would be far better suited to the job than a disposable tent
Well, it has got a porch and it is made by Gelert but I am not sure how much more waterproof it would be. The fly is rated as 1500 HH but I am not sure how that actually works out in practice as its single skin. Anybody know? MT

My daughter uses this one in the back garden for playing but it is a proper tent and I have seen them at Cropredy. there is a porch for your footwear etc.
my youngest sister was at the v festival in chelmsford and got speaking to one of the helpers the tents and camping equipment thats been left tends to be collected by the people that tidy up and sold on bootfairs
... or buy a stormproofusa, you'll end up putting one of those in the bin after using it once!
Sorry stormproofusa fans, i'm still bitter.
Hahaha Lumpy, exactly what I was going to say - however, im not sure a stormproofUSA would stand up to a weekend of rain at a festival, you are better off taking a large bucket to kip under !
right, that has swung my decision completely, if its not biodegradable, im not having it. (this is from a prospective member of greenpeace, nuclear power campaigner [against], and avid recycler)
