hi i was considering a vv500 for weekend use would i fit comfortably? two adults 2 kids (4n 6) we have the aspen 700 at the moment butneed a 'quick fix' for the odd weekend
I have a Vango Venture and love it. I ahve bought an Outwell Hertford canopy which I have modified and attatched to the Vango. It provides brilliant extra shelter and a place to cook if it is too wet and windy outside.
great for weekend tent although us and 3 kids[10,8 and6]spent 5 nights in scarborough last year,using 2 double air beds.they just fit,us on one,the kids on the other.ours is relegated to weekend use due to the arrival of an alaska 8 but it will be out this weekend at the haydock park truckfest.
Just had a short trip just after the bank holiday, stood up to wind and kept us dry a traet. Borrowed a couple of poles to try "porching it" worked a treat.

Best keep off the baked beans
I've got a VV600DLX and it leaks at the bottom of the side door zip area. When it's raining, the elasticated door flap collects the water and drains it through the zip at the bottom where the SIG meets up. Don't know when the tent was made but bought it a few weeks ago in the Millets sale.
Does anybody have any idea what I can do? Have I pitched it incorrectly? It was pointing downhill when it rained so I've wondered about pointing it uphill instead.
