We love our canopy, we wouldn't be without it.
We always have it secured with Delta pegs just to be safe but so far it has been rock solid even in rough winds. We haven't found it necessary to add more guy ropes.
One thing I would recommend is a small windbreak to block off the front of the canopy during the night (see my pic). We had an unfortunate incident of something (or somebody!) deciding to leave a huge puddle of urine right in the middle of my B&Q tarpauline ground-sheet. The first I knew of it was when my bare feet got wet as I stepped into the porch the next morning. Yuk.
