We think the canopy is totally brilliant! Ours has been tested in quite windy conditions and has been fine. We did wake up a few times worrying about it but it was always still there in the morning. We had lovely evenings under ours even when it was raining outside. All the excess stuff like Swingball, washing up bowls, wellies and bin bags got stored in it. We couldn't live without it! BUY BUY BUY!

I bought the canopy for my hartford L and love it. It makes such a big difference to the tent. We also added more guy ropes and constantly checked the pegging as it does catch the wind. It is not perfect but definately worth having.

We love our canopy, we wouldn't be without it.

We always have it secured with Delta pegs just to be safe but so far it has been rock solid even in rough winds. We haven't found it necessary to add more guy ropes.

One thing I would recommend is a small windbreak to block off the front of the canopy during the night (see my pic). We had an unfortunate incident of something (or somebody!) deciding to leave a huge puddle of urine right in the middle of my B&Q tarpauline ground-sheet. The first I knew of it was when my bare feet got wet as I stepped into the porch the next morning. Yuk.
