yes we like it to but not as much as the biscaya, saw that up last week, (called in at a camping shop in Devon we spotted on the side of the A38 on the way back from France!!!) That is a beauty of a tent but at £1000 a no no. I can still dream though.

Cemh, how do you get on with your Kyham, spend ages yesterday in Attwoolls looking at it then going back to their 'Bibury' tent. Thouhgt the Kyham was a bit dark with lack of windows but wow, saw them put it up, it is quick!

I really do love my Khyam Tourer, I have never found it dark. You can open both sides of the living area and there is a nice canopy (I think a porch annexe may be available next year). There are only 2 of us, me and my 8 year old and we sleep in one pod, feet towards the opening of the pod. I am just over 5' 8" and it's just the right fit. Lying the way we do you could get another couple of people in with us! We use the other bedroom pod as a toilet tent/storage unit. I went for the quick erect system as I knew I would be erecting it without much help (my son prefers the play area...). I think they are a good buy at the moment but remember the ground sheet is an extra £30 on top of the reduced price. I do like the look of the Cabanons but realistically as I have a small car (micra with roof box) and have now invested in a utility tent I would not be able to fit a Cabanon in the car with the rest of my kit! I bought the Outwell outhouse and it is now in my back garden being tested. That's easy to put up and will be great for the cooking stuff and storage. If you can afford the extra (around £250) I would go for the Khyam, I chose the Tourer 400 over the Classic XL as I wanted a vis a vis style for when my son is older and refuses to sleep in the same pod with just a dividng curtain. I just like the shape of it, personal choice. I have used in around 7 times in just under a year and the only thing I would like would be a porch area with sides to sit in, the canopy is fine but now decided a porch would be useful. Good luck with your choice. Post back and let us know what you end up with! I really wanted the Cabanon kitchen tent but decided against it with weight and price and I am pleasantly surprised by the outhouse which packs up really small.. Also I think Khyam's have a high re-sale value - I have checked ebay and they seem to hold their prices well.
