I hope this doesn't sound like stating the obvious, but once you've made your shorlist go and have a look a the tents at your local camping shops.
I was in a similar position to you earlier on in the year. I got loads of excellent advice and tips from this site but at the end of the day its a personal choice. I did a tour of the tent displays with all the family in tow and had a good look around, got us all into the living area to see what space was like and even lay down in the sleeping pods! Got a few funny looks but allowed me to make an informed choice.
I echo martytoon's comment - they are never the same in the flesh, as they are in the pictures.
As for a £100 - that is a tight budget. I believe Awnings Direct still have some of their (new) 2005 Sunncamp Tourist 6XPs on sale at £135 - this would be a good bargain. Another one to lok for, as I saw they were going cheaply at the end of the season would be the Gelert Quebec - not three bedrooms, but would be a good bargain.
------------- Big Bunny
Robens Valley Lodge & Cabanon Pyramide 6 "... kids you distract the bear, while I run to the car...."
bit over your budget but we got our alaska 8 direct from gelerts for 150 quid plus 12 pounds postage.2 permanent rooms[or 1 without curtain]and 1 or 2 other pods to play with at the other end,and decent head room.

Please recomend a tent a 6ft person can stand up in,3 rooms and sewn in groundsheets.Suitable for a family.
Where is the best place to buy a tent from ??
Thanks very much
It surely has to be the Vango Aspen 700 DLX (if you don't mind an inner-first pitch tent?). Great sale price at the moment too at £299. Try Somerset Camping.

Sorry, didn't read down the thread to where you stated your intended budget. Scrap that idea, then!
have a look at my fave - the marechal vario 9 - apart from the SIG, it ticks all your boxes. ( see my gallery for an idea of space )
the bedrooms have SIGS, but not the living space. But if you think that many campsites are increasingly asking for breathable groundsheets - this does give you the option.
ps in my photo, the tallest fella ( my husband ! ) is 6ft 3".
United British caravans have got the Sunncamp Tourist 6 XP for £115, and the Sunncamp Magnum XL for an astonishing £135 HERE. Just click to enter shop, then select Product overview, and Special Offer tents.
Both tents are fine for height. Both are full SIG and go up inner first. Sunncamp is a reasonable make - we have a Bravo 4 as a weekend tent and are very happy with it.
