We bought a Noval Portaflot trailer on Ebay. It has the extended sides a fitted tarpaulin and an unused spare wheel. Its been great so far - the big test will be in August as we are going to France.

Finding somewhere to keep it was an issue. Its sitting on a small paved area outside my front window, though its better than having a caravan in the drive as we had before. We also don't have any security devices on it- it is very difficult to manouevre it past some shrubs though.

Just back from our first weekend away with the "Franc Trailor" we bought on eBAY.

To answer the first posters question, yes - get a trailor. I would highly recommend it!!!  All camping gear fitted in it, its really easy to tow (just remeber the 60mph ruleon the motorway!) and during the weekend was really useful to store all the empty boxes etc from our kit.  It meant the car was kept empty and only used for the prams etc before a day out.  Back home now, and have packed away all of our camping gear in the trailor and we are ready to hook u[p and go for our next weekend away!
