I have just got back from Cornwall about 30 mins ago,  went away Friday morning and just got back, got some heavy rain but its so much better than been at home. Had a great time even if my lilo and pillows got soaked. Luckily my site has a drier so not too bad. Went to so many places has so much fun and so quiet on my campsite, tis all i ask when i go away.

we are off to ashbourne at the weekend so i hope it clears up a bit , will prob take me a while to put the tent up as it is our first trip.

Hope you have a great time my friend, my partner and i had abreak from the noise we nomally have to endure where we live. These times away are where we refill our souls and enjoy ourselves. Our old Cabanon is 25+ years old and still giving us joy.  Hope u have a great time. We are going back to the same site in 4 weeks, hope we get some sun this time but if not we will still enjoy.

Dawlish warren, now that brings back memories. My parents never had a car so all my holidays to devon and cornwall were by train. I always remember Dalish Warren as the first sign u were nere the coast as the train past by the beaches there, Fond memories my friend.

That's funny because my first holiday was at Dawlish Warren. Even though I was young I can still remember the park we stayed at. It was called Welcome Holiday Park. As you said, fond old memories

We're off to sunny Scarborough.( Pessimistic to the end we are) .Going Thursday so we get a choice of the 300 pitches. Shouldn't really have told you that cause you'll go on Wednesday. I'm a  Wasock.

Got back From Gwithian Farm at 9.00pm. Really is a great site to chill out on and my two eldest who went with us spent most of their time on the beach. Saturday evening and night was a good test for our 2006 Monty6 as the winds were very high and the rain was lashing down all night. Only 2 small leaks from the lowest of the bedroom clips by each of the doors.

What a top weekend, the weather people are rubbish, were we were going had a severe weather warning and we had brilliant sunshine allday friday and saturday then rained saturday night, but bright again on sunday, so my advice is go what ever the weather as you can allways pack up and come home if the weather does turn.

It also looks like we have managed to convert three families to camping, and we are all off again in three weekend time. To all who braved the weather hope you all had a good a times as us.
