My close friend is a tour guide has always told me that tours are all about 'tea stops' and sourcing the loos...

To put it more crudely.... life is all about Eating and 'Sh*t*ing.

Happy days..... As the poor people in Gloucester who have been managing without mains water for the last week REALLy know.

Well I will definately be taking my porta potty next time, didn't want to take it this time, due to a lack of space (and blue stuff lol) so we managed with the potty, however my 8 year old managed to miss and we ended up with a soggy picnic blanket - thank goodness I had a spare lol.

i haven't told my husband yet that i have bought one ............

i wonder if that big label comes off

the big label is painted on so no discreet emptying

however, for a creaky old person like me, having a seat at a reasonable height is fantastic.

i did confess to my husband and after a couple of nights, a fair old distance from the loos, he came round to the idea

i  my luggable loo.

I'm a single mum with two kids aged 8 & 6 and often go camping on our own so I know all about the midnight toilet trips and the dilemma of leaving kids in the tent alone. I used to use the 'bucket with lid system' but then one night I got up at around 3am and knocked the darn thing over   so invested in a porta loo and I have to say it's the best £40 I've ever spent

If anyone is still needing a porta potty or anything like that, check your local paper classifieds as there was one in ours I would have got - but the with the stuff we're taking my car will be on the floor already!! - and it was only £10!
