Hi Tigermouse, Beulah Hall is a lovely peaceful adults only camp, very reasonable tarriffs indeed, less than £10 a night even in the height of the season and that includes hook up, its a neat all grass pitches camp, there isn't a clubhouse or a shop on it but all you need isn't that far away, the shower and toilet facilities are very clean although there is only one male and one female shower but at the time you intend to stay there won't be many camping I expect so you won't have to wait in a queue, in fact when the camp is full (only takes 30 units in total anyway) you rarely have to queue, I would recommend the camp certainly, enjoy your stay and the wedding

Yvonne.

Sounds like a reasonable idea to me. Fresh meat is always at a premium on camp sites.

Anyone know any good bbq recipes for cat?

Cats are nasty horrible creatures which kill for fun. I run over them when I can but they are slippery little blighters with which I only have around a 10% success rate. The best cats are flat cats.

~Pleeeease!!!! dont take a cat camping unless you planning on not letting it out atall ,which seems very unfair to the cat !

Cats and tents do not mix ,they can do terrible damage !!

How on earth would taking a cat camping work in practical terms?
You couldn't keep them in the box for long car journeys surely?
Where do they go to the toilet? A litter tray in the tent? Although it's a big job when we get back, I don't miss cleaning up after them while we're away! You can't let them 'go' on the site where there are children playing!
What would they do all day while you're out?
What if they bugger off and don't come back?
Of the 12 cats I've owned, I can't imagine 1 that would be 'suitable' for a camping holiday

I would imagine this would be greatly entertaining as you find alot of dogs on campsites. I can only speak for myself but our Black Lab is as soft as they come but put a cat within twenty feet, the cat normaly wins though. But it could all come down to numbers alot of dogs go camping and most only have a metal skewer holding them to the ground..........

Ouch!

I actually picked up a kitten at a campsite and now have two cats. I would not fancy the stress of packing up and finding the cat before we all headed home. However, all cats are individuals and you can't generalise - some cats are really docile and relaxed. Having two kids under ten, we already have our hands full!
