We use king sized sleeping bags, zipped together. Having just had two nights sleeping at home after our holiday, I've remembered why we don't take a duvet.

Mr F can't nick a sleeping bag like he does the duvet, leaving me with a cold at rse. He can't pull it up and bunch it round his head like the duvet either, leaving me with cold feet. When the chilly dog snuggles in the middle, she doesn't tug all the sleeping bag down and leave us both with cold at rses.

We have a quilted mattress cover on top of the airbed, with a fleece blanket beneath, and a range of fleece blankets that can go over the top in various combinations depending on the temperature.

We always use a king size duvet and take it in a vac sac, our tent pump works as a vacuum too so we use that.

It packs down to not much more than a folded duvet cover - Perfect!!! Home from home as I don't like being zipped up!

The Children love their sleeping bags when camping though but I vac pack those too! Infact I vac pack virtually everything I can. Clothes, towels, coats, etc the room you save is amazing!
