We have a subaro impretza station wagon (a real battered old one) and it's rammed when we go camping. You can't see out the back (I think this is the norm tho) and the kids are seperated by the cool bag stacked op top with bread and coats cos they're always the last bits to go in.

We have 2 kids and take 2 beds, 3 sleeping bags, 4 chairs, folding table/chair combo thing, 2 stoves, bucket bbq, pump, tent carpet and doormats, lanterns, extra blankets and pillows, 5 man tent (which is huge in its bag), coolbag, 1 box of plastic and aluminium gubbins for cooking and eating and a box of dried food/snax.
Plus the alcohol section of our local supermarket.

We always think there'll be more space on the way back cos we'll have eaten and drunk everything but it always looks the same!

Wow thats really impressive...better not show OH though. We are still filling my peogeut 307 with roof bars for bikes and his Disco with topbox. Although next year we are customising our trailer and hopefully will manage with the disco. Going to France without the dogs so that will free up more space....its amazing how  much a retriever  takes up when she wants to and how small she is when shes scared (big dog  BIG COWARD!!!)

But will it all fit when you go for a week or more!!!??

Just jealous...we wowed everyone on our campsite when we got all our stuff into our S60 boot and roof box, and had nothing inside the actual car....( except us and the kids!!) and that was after a week....glad you weren`t there to steal my thunder........very impressed
