It might be an idea to have a practice putting it up in either a local park or in your garden a few times. It might get you used to it. Its the best way to figure it out.
If you make sure you are all Warm and Dry then thats the most important thing covered. I'd say that being cold or wet is probably the thing that puts a lot of people off camping.
Hope this helps

Cool campers use Delta Pegs.
The happiest people aren't the ones who have everything they are the ones who make the most of everything they have
The tent was great. one little spray of fabsil under the window where we had a little bit of seepage fixed it.
The windbreak unfortunately was killed. The wind bent the steel poles a full 90 degrees. Tent was hit by some really strong wind, but amazingly stood proud and totally unharmed. Woohoo. £110 total bargain.
nice looking tent and an absolute bargain. I think you have proven why the only thing i wont change is my stripey windbreaks, They were hit by massive winds last year in wales and are still standing. I was going to get metal ones until rex pointed out exactly the above, but just goes to pprove the point more expensive isn't always better. Sorry about your misfortune though dezzie and really glad you had a great time
------------- Camped since 2008 and still loving it!
