We use EHU but I have a 25m extension to go with the 15m EHU unit so can often get on the camping field and just run the lead back. Its a must for us as we have to charge an electric wheelchair, but its also used for phone chargers (Nokia N series with crap batteries), fridge, bug killer (an absolute must, bought in France and is awesome), DAB radio and hair dryer for me so I dont look like just had an electric shock!

we have camped once with EHU and only thing we used it for was cool box, kettle and toaster, i refuse to let the  girls take their  DS or  DVd players. Mobiles didn't need charging as we turn  mine  on for an hour  every evening  and  hubbys on for an hour in the morning  incase my eldest who stays home wants us!

Most important thing straightners..lol I av 2 electric radiators cos I have no blood in my veins..lol We av flat screen TV and Free view. (I know missing the point of camping but too cold outside at night, kids shattered from all the walking, me and OH snuggle in our sleeping bags and watch TV til we're tired. Electric Kettle (fab idea so easier than boiling on a stove and wasting gas) George foreman grill, phone, DS lites and also have an electric light. Makes me laugh because when we first camped it was one yr ago this weekend we had nothing, borrowed a small tent and a deck chair now we have a trailer that looks like we're moving out..lol but love camping what can I say..lol
