OMG this is sooooo true!!

So then i started not having a 7 day break with the pill.

Then i forgot to pack my pill and so got IT anyway.

Then i got pregnant so didnt get any.

Now i have Joel and need a bigger tent!

I have a mooncup too.  Had it for about 8 years now.  Absolutely brilliant, no need to carry extra supplies and I'd recommend any of you ladies to try one!

That mooncup looks interesting, is it not really messy to use though?

How do you explain to hubby and kids what it is boiling in a pan on the camp stove????

You don't need to boil it other than at the end of your period, and even then you could wait until you got home and bung it in a bowl in the microwave.  I don't even worry about boiling it at all - I just put mine in an old cup with some boiling water and a couple drops of bleach and leave it to soak for half an hour.  A quick rinse and dry and put it away until next month.

It can be a little messy to use, but no worse than any other sanitary products really,  Its also cheaper in the long run, better for your body and greener too.  Does take a little practice to get used to at first - when I first tried I thought I wouldn't get the hang of it, but by the end of the first month, I had it sussed and have never looked back.

I have been lucky so far, and not been 'on' whne camping, which is a very very good thing as i cant usually move for 2 days cause of the pain.

yep the old bag always seems to join us as well!  you just soo dont need the extra mess and hassle while camping.
