You can't be too thin, too rich or have too many options for cooking food. Multi-fuel stoves, primus stoves, gas stoves, meths stoves. I've got them all.

Our favourite on the cobb is roast leg of lamb (may need to get a saw to part of the bone) with rosemary and garlic pushed into the flesh, or roast beef. We have stopped putting red wine in the moat as it gives it a pink tinge and everyone keeps asking is this cooked ok! We have just bought some of the cobble stones (only tried one) where we have always just used the charcoal briquettes before. What do other people find best?
Home Bargain stores sell a cobblestone-like alternative, £1.99 for a pack of 5.
Already used a pack and they work perfectly with the Cobb.
Our Cobb is lit at least once a week, usually to cook a gammon joint with jackt spuds, delicious!!!
