We used ours once and it is now full of holes and material inside all coming away. It only got rained on once. Hopefully this is faulty but my advice now after using it once is only put soft stuff in it or get a roof box instead !!!!!

We put 3 folding camping chairs in their bags in it and the rest was air beds and sleeping bags. my husband will e mail the company on Monday and we will expect a full refund. Honestly it has literally fallen apart !!!!! Don't buy it !!!
We've bitten the bullet and ordered a roof box now too. Just hope we get a refund for the bag. Will let you know what they say.
In the meantime please let me know if this happens to anyone else who bought the roof bag. Should I have put camping chairs in it do you think, even though they were in their drawstring bags?
I will be trying our bag out next weekend so will let you know how it goes.
Camping chairs in theis bags should have been ok in there i would have thought. I'm planning to put chairs , sleeping mats , extension and rugs in so will see how it performs. I know they all fit in as i've tried it just hope we don't have a disaster and have to get a roof box !
as well as the holes that appeared, we found that the lining stuff that looks like pvc type lining all peeled away and was in bits all over our stuff so its not brilliant in the rain (it rained heavily one night)
Should be ok for soft stuff but make sure you put in plastic bags first
Just send us the fitting kit back and we will give you a full refund. You may dispose of the bag as you wish.
Had a full refund and also had the postage I paid to send it to them refunded too so I'm not too disgruntled lol. Had to put the refund towards my blinking two hundred quid roof box
I used the bag for the first time at the weekend. To be honest i foung it to be really good. It let in a little water but not much and the rain was torrential at times.
In it i put , 3 chairs , 3 self inflating mats , 3 picnic rugs and the tent extension. Everything was wrapped in bags so nothing got wet. Since coming home i have given it a good coating of Fabsil and will see how it goes next weekend.
We've used ours quite a few times now and never had any problems. We always take it off and put it in the boot when we've empties it therefore only ever been subjected to rain whilst travellig but even then no problems.
Usually we'll have all sorts in it, chairs tables sleeping bags etc and no holes or anything. We sold our roof box after buying this as it's so easy to store and as you don't have to drive round with it on your roof has saved us loads in fuel costs too.
We only paid £15 pounds for ours too as the discount shop we bought it for didn't actually know what it was lol.
Taking it away for another week soon so if any problems will let you know.
