 Whilst I agree that the damage does look dramatic, it doesn't show what the tent had been through prior to the photo's had it been damaged in some way before the bad weather. I don't think that anyone should be put off of polyester tents as a result of this, most will carry on and give years and years of faithfull service with no ill effects whatsoever.

If you went to a large scrapyard and saw all of the twisted mangled wrecks of cars that come in as a result of accidents would this make you decide to give up your beloved Ford in a part exchange for a Centurian tank?

No but they don't tend to put the smashed up ones on display at car showrooms.

The tent with poo smeared on the walls is inexcusable. I can see how they may get beaten up a bit, but poo on the walls?!

AND when I went to tell a member of staff about it he said "oh no not again". AND this was not a crack of dawn visit - this was middle of the afternoon. So not one member of staff, knowing that this was a recurring problem, had been to check the tents at any time during the day.
