Update.
My wife and I did go away as planned, despite the bad weather forecast.
My first choice of site, didn't have sufficient cover from the wind to my belief. So a more exclusive (and more costly) site was chosen.
Despite rain and wind each day, the tent performed admirably in keeping us dry, and staying put.
Sadly, I've not got any images. We took a camera, but forgot to take it with us when we went out.
Packing up the wet tent on Monday morning did not feel comfortable. It seemed to weigh about 2 kg more.
We got home in time to erect it in the garden to dry out.
Today it rained again, tomorrow heavy rain is forecast, so Thursday is the only day I have to pack it dry.
We're not finished tenting for this year, but certainly not when frost and snow set in.
