Which propane stove did you get, Val?

i didn't - just got a spare hose, propane connector and 5kg propane bottle

Undid the jubilee clip on the butane hose and swapped it over

Just a normal calor gaz cooker

Thanks for that, Val. I'll have a look on the Go Outdoors website and see what is available.

I know Propane not only gasses at lower temperature but burns hotter too (hence boils a kettle quicker). It is obviously the way to go.

I've just extended my tent thanks to fleabay.... got a bargain front porch for a third of the retail price Next on the wishlist is a side porch, and maybe a carpet inside...lol
Gonna be having a tidy up of my gear and store it properly in some cheap plastic boxes so it can all be packed / unpacked slightly quicker

Oh and I'm currently working on an LED lighting set-up for the tent, something that can run on batteries / 12V / EHU whatever I have available at different sites.

Oh I like the camping boot sale idea Val

Blimey it will never fit on the pitch

After hopleys and my new found confidence in my pyramid and canvas I want to change the polyester tarp to canvas (all my canvas dried much faster than the polyester).
Whilst the Rosas is out I have (today) changed all 24 guys to have lineloks these a brilliant little sliders that do not come loose in the wind.
Need a few more Delta pegs as i used them all at Hopleys they were the dogs watnots and didnt move at all in the gales

Fancy a Palamos for next year

Have just got a new firepit rather than the fire basket we were using, will be following your lead here Val with the kettle and stuff for cooking on, will be making a folding tripod and mesh stand in the workshop over winter.

Had the coleman duel fuel lantern and stove for hopleys but didnt use them as we had EHU

Biggest change for next year is more time away with my best friends on here

Ahhhh you are being nice to us!

Is fun cooking over the fire, go for it.

And if you can't be bothered to make the foldy mesh stand you can get them here:-

plus dutch ovens etc etc

Well after getting our proposed 2011(BearLake 6) in August of this year there's not much we need.

Probably a new windbreak......Oh and we are getting a new car in March, have been looking at the new Vauxhall Meriva, still not sure if all the gear will go in though.

The main think I want to order for next year is plenty of.
