We took our rescue lab Max with us of our first camping trip last weekend. At home he sleeps in a metal crate and I got him a travel, canvas one for holidays. The only problem we had was that while outside tethered he chewed through 4 guylines which we had to replace and only at the beach he snatched a strangers bag and ran off with it lol He is still a bit of a naughty pup at only 1 year old (think Marley from Marley and Me). I do wish I had gotten a metal crate to travel with though because I had visions of him chewing his way out of the canvas one once when we popped out to the chip shop, but he was fine. I think he had a great time.
