we're off to the Gower on Thurs for 2 nights, going with friends who havent camped before,so what with them with their new tent and us who have only camped twice,4 kids and a baby..surely we will be lucky enough to have just a bit of dry weather
------------- tent and gear all packed away now and making plans for 2012

Easter..Nantcols
August..Bristol balloon fiesta
August..Cornwall..of course!
We've just got back from a week in Abergele - mixed weather. Sunday was awful 0 but as there was a pool on site kids could go there - and indeed spend a lot of time there.
Tuesday was glorious, and I had hope it was just he start - but sadly no.
Some days we could sit outside - others it was too cold or windy - so glad that it was commercial site as Alice lived in the pool - and Pip did spend some time there.
Just hope that it is nice when we venture out in July.
We wimped... I had this weekend earmarked for a trip as I've been rehearsing and dancing at various events, and this was the only one free for a bit. So much for flaming June... flaming awful more like.
I didn't expect heat but a bit less wet and wind would have been nice. So we've gardened instead and had lunch outside dodging the showers. I'm getting cabin fever and neeeeeeed to be a in a tent soon.
Same terrible weather here in Denmark... I had planned to have the Monty out for a trial run before our long trip in July, but I gave up when I saw the forecast. I know I should do some tidying up and cleaning in the house, but I have used hours looking at the "Show us your tent pics" thread - the next best weekend activity after camping!
Next weekend my 11 year old daughter and 2 friends will take my nylon bell tent to a children's festival, I am afraid they will get testet if it's rainproof. The 7 days forecast is not promising at all!
